This Position reports to:
Business Chief Financial Officer
As Global Fiduciary Manager, you will be ensuring that ABB Robotics operates in compliance with all applicable fiduciary and regulatory requirements across the globe.
With dedicated focus to fiduciary and regulatory matters, you will be coordinating the Country General and Finance Managers on their fiduciary duties to ensure consistency, expertise, and a dedicated focus to fiduciary and regulatory matters.
The work model for the role is: hybrid; #LI-Hybrid
Preferred locations are Zurich or Milan.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Fulfilling and coordinating through the relevant Country responsible teams (Finance, Legal, HR, General Management) all fiduciary and regulatory duties within the country.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable local fiduciary requirements, overseeing compliance with local GAAP, local reporting, internal controls, legal, treasury and tax law requirements, with support provided by the global and local functional organization, local business leaders or ABB Robotics Services.
Collaborating with global teams, the existence of strong local leadership for fiduciary matters in all areas (Tax, Treasury, Internal Controls, HR…)
Defining and implementing strong processes and operational rhythm for all fiduciary and regulatory matters for local teams and business
Coordinating the legal structure, ownership, capital adequacy/thin cap, dividends distribution, JV partner obligations (if applicable), fiscal/statutory requirements etc., in close collaboration with global and local leadership of the relevant teams.
When required, be the fiduciary spokesperson externally & internally. Acting as the key local spokesperson for ABB with local authorities. Chairing or being a member of the Board of Directors, as applicable
Building effective, competent, and high-performing teams and hires for direct and indirect reports; coaching and developing talents
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor/Master’s degree, CA, CPA or MBA in Finance
10-15 years working knowledge with at least 5-7 years of supervisory experience in similar role in multicultural environment
Proven ability to work with internal and external (non-customer) stakeholders, such as tax authorities, government institutions, associations, auditors, etc.
Broad functional knowledge and expertise, including full range of functional finance and non-financial and management skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills, collaborative style, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels and comfortable with uncertain and evolving situations
Well demonstrated leadership abilities based on creating an impactful collaboration culture and strong accountability
Strategic thinker with strong planning skills and high level of business acumen
Leadership skills to keep team motivated. Mature team player with uncompromising integrity
Fluent in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus

On October 8th 2025, ABB announced the sale of its Robotics (RO) Division to Softbank. The final closing of the deal will take place in 2026, most likely in third quarter. ABB Robotics generates about 2.3 bio Revenue annually and operates with headcounts in more than 50 countries. It has major manufacturing facilities in China, Sweden and the USA.
