We are looking for a Group Communications Manager to strengthen our Group Communications team at Lindt & Sprüngli’s headquarters in Kilchberg, Switzerland. In this role, you will primarily focus on sustainability communications and media relations, while also contributing to reputation management at large. As part of a small, collaborative team, you will be involved in content development, stakeholder management and a wide range of external and internal communications, such as advising Group’s subsidiaries worldwide and ensuring issue preparedness.
Main Tasks:
- Lead the Group’s sustainability communications activities, including the annual sustainability report, press releases and presentations
- Manage media relations and act as media spokesperson for the Group
- Develop communication strategies and materials
- Create Q&As, key messages, briefings and speeches
- Support executive communications
- Contribute to communications preparedness for issues and crises
- Support subsidiaries on Group-relevant communications matters
- Support Group events, such as press conferences or the annual shareholder meeting
Education/Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in communications, journalism, or a related area
- Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in corporate communications and media relations, ideally with a focus on sustainability communication, and issue management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
- Strong interest in sustainability matters (knowledge of the cocoa sector is an advantage)
- Well organized and able to set priorities, meet tight deadlines and handle workload peaks
- Comfortable interacting with senior management and working in cross-functional teams
- Self-starter with a hands-on work attitude
- Strong team player with a service-oriented, flexible mindset
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
Skills Required
- Master's degree or equivalent in communications, journalism, or a related field
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in corporate communications and media relations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English
