Group Communication Analytics and Project Manager

All about the role:

Data can be a powerful tool in communications, both in the creation of the message and in measuring the impact of that message. Data can make communication more memorable through charts, graphs and infographics. The gathering and analysis of data can drive the business intelligence within Communications by helping the organization confidently craft impactful communication, thereby creating business value.

This is why Electrolux Group Communications is looking for a data specialist who can work with information in two areas — first, boosting the power of creative storytelling with data, and second, driving strategy through the gathering and analysis of data and creating dashboards of relevant measurements.

This job is for you if you are excited about the idea of sitting down to a spreadsheet full of data, and even more excited when the numbers turn into pictures and stories in your head. You know your work is best when you collaborate with other storytellers. Their strengths may be the written word, or pictures, while your strength is the visualization of data. Together with other highly skilled communicators, you will become part of a team that grows and evolves. Together, this team creates engaging messaging for 40,000 employees. It also supports communication for our top leaders around the world.

Equally important is the ability to lead and manage the projects that bring those data-driven insights to life. Project management in this role is about turning complex ideas into tangible results — setting clear objectives, coordinating across teams, and ensuring every milestone is met on time. It’s about creating structure amidst complexity, keeping stakeholders aligned, and navigating challenges with flexibility and focus. This is a chance to not only work with data but also to guide initiatives from concept to completion, making a real difference in how we communicate and connect.

In detail you will:

  • Manage information gathered about communications on multiple channels, internal and external. Prepare analysis of the data for creation of KPIs and tracking performance.
  • Lead planning for new collection of data as well as improving existing collection.
  • Be the liaison between our storytelling tools – websites, intranets, etc. – and communications across the company regarding data collection and data use.
  • Create data visualizations that can be used in ongoing communications, from simple articles to video to leadership presentations.
  • Be a key part of weekly planning sessions and longer-term strategy-setting for corporate storytelling.
  • Develop clear and compelling ways to support communication with data-driven visualizations.
  • Create a style guide for Group Communications on how to visualize data, with guidelines and resources.
  • Create in-house training programs for data-driven storytelling at basic and intermediate levels.
  • Collaborate with data specialists in other divisions on data, big data, AI, etc., and how to make best use of them.
  • Contribute to the creation of surveys, newsletters and other data-gathering events so that the measurements are accurate and useful.
  • Create a new dashboard exclusively for top leaders to help gain insight and target their communications.
  • Manage SharePoint-based events and content calendars.

You are:

  • Curious. Your curiosity drives your discovery of data and need to explain it in storytelling.
  • Analytical. You understand that data can reveal truths — as well as hide them. You understand that what can't be or wasn't measured must also be acknowledged for a valid analysis. To this end, you constantly question data as you seek and find new ways to measure categories.
  • Creative communicator. We are looking for a creative, results-driven collector, analyst and communicator with experience in using data to set strategy and craft messages.
  • Skeptical. Your skepticism will keep your data honest and your conclusions valuable and credible.

Your competences:

  • Relevant university education.
  • Preferably around 3+ years of experience working on communication projects and using data to develop strategy.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Matomo and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Excel, SharePoint and Power Automate. You are also quick to learn new tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Experience in a multinational organization or where data was gathered and used across borders would be highly appreciated.

Where you'll be:

You will be based at our Global headquarters in Stockholm at Sankt Göransgatan 143.

Benefit highlights include:

  • Flexible work hours/hybrid work environment.
  • Attractive social benefits package.
  • Extensive learning opportunities and flexible career path.
  • Discounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services.
