As a Group Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the animation of accounting subjects. This role provides a challenging day-to-day interaction with local affiliates. You are the Affiliates key point of contact regarding the accounting matters (Accounting referent). You will also have a frequent exposure to corporate functions (BP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal and Internal Control).
Your key missions:
You will define Group accounting policies (URG):
- Produce and update Unify Reporting Guide (URG)
- Produce and update other policies
- Master data owner for consolidation (e.g., entity)
You will animate the accounting community:
- Analysis of new IFRS standards impacts on Group reporting
- New IFRS standards monitoring & implementation (incl. training)
- Enforce group accounting policy in Affiliates (harmonization)
- Create & animate Group community (preferred point of contact)
- Balance sheet controllership
You will ensure transversal compliance coordination:
- Implementation and monitoring of new compliance reporting: SAPIN II, Pillar 2…etc.
- Statutory account monitoring (statutory vs IFRS reconciliation)
You will oversee business processes:
Closing process
- Closing process owner
- Produce and update the closing instructions and calendar
Intercompany process
- Intercompany policy owner
- End to end intercompany process animation and monitoring
- Perform continuous improvement on the process
Disclosure
- Disclosure process owner
- Coordinate Disclosure management for URD
