We are a growing team looking for a Group Accountant in the Finance department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics.
The role might be based in our Berlin, Bucharest or Wrocław office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO …
The Group Accountant is responsible for accounting and financial reporting across a group of companies. In this role you will…
- Prepare monthly group reporting in accordance with IFRS in close cooperation with the Head of Group Accounting
- Support group subsidiaries in IFRS-related accounting matters
- Prepare analyses of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Implement new reporting policies at both group and local level
- Develop and improve accounting and reporting practices throughout the company
- Take reporting to the next level using Oracle NetSuite ERP
- Work closely with the Head of Finance and CFO
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …
- 4+ years of work experience, preferably as an auditor or consultant within a Big4 audit company
- Strong IFRS knowledge, basic German GAAP knowledge will be a plus
- Experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements, preferably under IFRS
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline. ACCA is a plus.
- Open and communicative personality
- Team spirit and high job commitment
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility of projects that push the needle within sennder
- Experience with automation projects or AI adoption will be a plus
- German language knowledge will be an advantage

Skills Required
