Group reporting and consolidation
Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts across all group entities
Produce annual group statutory financial statements in line with IFRS
Ensure accurate intercompany eliminations and group-level adjustments
Maintain consistency in accounting policies across entities
Financial planning and analysis
Support the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Perform financial modelling to inform planning and decision-making
Deliver financial analysis and commentary for board and executive reporting
Compliance and governance
Ensure compliance with IFRS standards across the group
Maintain strong oversight of corporate and deferred tax calculations
Support and coordinate external and internal audit processes
Maintain statutory and regulatory compliance across all entities
Stakeholder engagement
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders
Provide clear and accurate financial information to support business units
Contribute to finance leadership discussions with reliable data and insight
Systems and process integrity
Use financial systems and tools to produce accurate and efficient reporting
Strengthen reporting processes and controls to reduce risk and improve efficiency
Maintain high standards of data accuracy and documentation
Qualifications
Required qualifications
Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting or related field
Professional qualification (e.g. SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA) is advantageous
Required experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial accounting
Exposure to group consolidation and multi-entity reporting
Experience preparing financial statements
Experience working with external auditors and supporting audits
Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
Required knowledge
Sound understanding of IFRS and accounting policies
Knowledge of income tax and corporate tax requirements
Understanding of group consolidation principles
Familiarity with financial reporting cycles and statutory requirements
Working knowledge of financial systems such as Caseware, Draftworx or similar
Required skills
Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis
Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
Ability to interpret and communicate financial information clearly
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the business
High level of accuracy and consistency in output
