As a Group Account Manager in Chase Travel Groups, Meetings, and Incentives, you manage and grow an assigned portfolio by delivering exceptional service, improving program performance, and supporting renewals. You use strong client relationship skills, attention to detail, and data-driven insights to recommend solutions that improve outcomes for group travel and event programs. You communicate clearly, navigate complex stakeholder needs, and continuously improve how work gets done to exceed expectations.

Job responsibilities
  • Drive new business and expand existing accounts by responding to inbound inquiries, qualifying needs, and leading discovery conversations
  • Present group meetings and incentive services to prospective and current clients, tailoring recommendations to business goals and program requirements
  • Develop proposals using standard pricing frameworks, including cost build, written narrative, and presentation materials
  • Negotiate commercial terms within established guardrails and escalate exceptions for review and approval before client commitment
  • Lead end-to-end responses to requests for information and proposals by coordinating inputs, timelines, and approvals for accurate submissions
  • Maintain accurate records in a client relationship management (CRM) system to support pipeline visibility, next steps, and forecasting
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive outreach, business reviews, and service optimization to support retention and renewals
  • Manage contracts and service-level agreements, coordinating with internal teams to deliver consistent value and service quality
  • Own client escalations from intake through resolution, ensuring timely outcomes, clear communication, and documented follow-up actions
  • Analyze client and program data to produce reporting, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend enhancements to ways of working
  • Apply expertise in meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) program logistics—including venues, seasonality, and group air movements as applicable—to guide planning decisions
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) accounts, travel accounts, or a similar client-facing portfolio
  • Working knowledge of meetings and travel management technology tools and how to use them to support program logistics and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships, anticipate needs, and deliver proactive service
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data to create reporting and recommend process or program improvements
  • Proven conflict management skills with experience navigating complex situations to reach mutually beneficial outcomes
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation
