Maintains golf course grounds through mowing greens and tees, resetting tee markers, grooming bunkers, removing weeds, repairing ball marks, operating small equipment, and completing housekeeping duties. Reports course issues, maintains quality and safety standards, meets daily deadlines, and provides helpful internal and external customer service. Requires physical work outdoors, including frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to weather, noise, dust, fumes, and moving machinery.

Description
Responsible for the day-to-day mowing and grooming operations of the golf course and grounds.
- Properly walk mow greens, repair ball marks and report problems to management
- Properly mow tees, including resetting of tee markers
- Properly groom bunkers, including removal of weeds and notify management of improper sand conditions
- Use small equipment, including string trimmer and push mowers
- Practice “clean as you go” and general housekeeping duties
- Punctual and ready to work at start of each day’s activities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to operate all tools and equipment used in day-to-day operations
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Demonstrated organization and coordination skills and ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
- Possess a calm, efficient and helpful manner and be able to work under pressure under tight deadlines
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards
- Excellent interpersonal/relationship-building skills
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, drive, squat, kneel, reach, bend, stoop, twist, climb, clean and lift up to 50 pounds with frequent repetitive motions
- Must be able to handle continuous standing and walking and walking on rough or uneven ground
- Must be able to handle hot and cold interior and exterior conditions with occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
- Must be able to handle moderate to loud noise in the work environment
- Must be able to handle exposure to dust, fumes or gases
- Must be able to work in close proximity to moving machinery and be able to use equipment and tools required for the position
- Independent mobility
