The GRO Canadian Segment stream is a 24-month program that offers dynamic experiences across areas such as Manulife Bank, Group Benefits, Affinity, Strategy, and Insurance. Launch your career as a Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Process Excellence Analyst, Strategy Analyst, Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or Automation Analyst when you join this stream and gain exposure to cross-functional project work. You’ll gain hands-on experience in business development and strategic planning while cultivating expertise that drives organizational success and customer impact.  You’ll develop a strong foundation in digital and analytical acumen, critical thinking and problem-solving. As part of GRO, you’ll join a vibrant community of peers, benefit from professional development sessions, core skills training, mentorship, leadership exposure, and be empowered to grow into a future-ready leader.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic initiatives across various business functions.  
  • Engage in project management activities that enhance digital capabilities and streamline processes within Manulife.  
  • Collaborate with different teams to improve customer service and distribution strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.  
  • Utilize analytics to support decision-making processes in group benefits, strategy, and/or insurance, aiming to enhance service offerings and customer satisfaction.  
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.   

Required Qualifications:  

  • Pursuing a undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Computer Science, Analytics (or a related discipline), with an expected graduation of Spring 2027.  
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with sound judgment.  
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.  
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a drive to make meaningful changes.  
  • A natural curiosity to learn and apply new skills in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Expertise in interpreting data and applying data-driven insights to guide business decisions and optimize operations.  
  • Strong analytical and technical acumen, and an ability to synthesize data
  • Quick learner who thrives in dynamic environments, embracing new challenges with flexibility and resilience.  
  • Skilled in building and maintaining trust with team members and stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and inclusive culture.

Salary range is expected to be between

$62,850.00 CAD - $104,750.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
