About the Position:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a GRMS Manager – AV and Entertainment Technical Services to join the resort’s AV and Entertainment Technical Services team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Develop and implement GRMS strategies aligned with brand standards and guest experience goals.
- Lead system design, vendor selection, and integration planning for GRMS infrastructure.
- Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and AV teams to ensure robust and scalable GRMS architecture.
- Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee daily operations of GRMS systems including control panels, sensors, switches, and networked devices.
- Monitor system performance and ensure timely resolution of alerts and guest-reported issues.
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of GRMS and integrated AV systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation including service logs, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Manage a team of GRMS Technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure readiness for VIP arrivals and special events.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, safety, and guest-centric service.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all GRMS installations comply with UAE electrical safety standards and Wynn protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain system integrity and safety.
- Innovation & Integration
- Support the rollout of new GRMS features and guest-facing technologies.
- Lead testing and mock-ups for system upgrades and interface enhancements.
- Ensure seamless integration of GRMS with AV platforms such as Crestron, QLab, and Navigator CSC.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, AV Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in GRMS or AV systems, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Expert knowledge of GRMS architecture and AV integration.
- Proficiency in control systems (Crestron, QLab, Navigator CSC) and protocols (DMX, DALI, Art-Net/sACN).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Organized, proactive, and composed under pressure.
About You:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, AV Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in GRMS or AV systems, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Expert knowledge of GRMS architecture and AV integration.
- Proficiency in control systems (Crestron, QLab, Navigator CSC) and protocols (DMX, DALI, Art-Net/sACN).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
