In this amazing role, you have the unique opportunity to work with our most exciting clients on innovative solutions in telecom, manufacturing, financial services, public sector, media, and health & life sciences among others. You will collaborate with data scientists and technology experts to design unique solutions for our customers. This is achieved through interactive requirements gathering, to find best-fit solutions based on a problem-solving approach, integrated solution design based on multiple technology types, and a strong ability to present and communicate solutions that delight our customers.

How you’ll make your mark:

By providing solution and technical guidance in the creation and delivery of solutions (e.g. technical architecture, design, price build, and maintenance of large-scale computing solutions and development of customized solutions around Cloud, big-data analytics, mobility, infrastructure,e and IT transformation solutions leveraging our services portfolio as well as selective eco-system 3rd party partners).

  • You can create solution blueprints using our 3rd party products; you will create technical solution documents, diagram,s and presentations to make comprehensive proposals for customers
  • You will manage cross-functional teams at times in the completion of one or more solution requirements, architecture, or implementation deliverables.
  • You'll provide consulting advice to customer senior Information Technology (IT) management and you will influence the strategic direction for customers based on our solutions and products in the Data Analytics, Cloud, Mobility, and IT transformation space.
  • You can collaborate with others to define and characterize complex technology or process problems and/or develop new solutions, as well as self-directed technical solutions.
  • A commercial understanding of the solution is key to ensure you optimize the various price leavers

In a typical day as a GreenLake Solution Architect, you would

  • Actively participates in executive-level workshops or vision-setting sessions. Focuses on customers´ business issues, evolving markets, and industry trends, to act as a trusted advisor to influence IT strategy and investments.
  • Able to define and communicate key value propositions and technical requirements, as well as quantify the impact of the business problem(s), identify the strengths and weaknesses of the overall proposed solution, and deliver solutions to achieve long-term business objectives.
  • Capable of managing large-scale, complex solutions using standard and non-standard partners to meet service level expectations to ensure a superior customer experience.
  • Work closely with account team leadership to optimize strategic account planning and use competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities in ethe arly stages of sales development.
  • Build strong professional relationships with key executives across the business, industry, and region, to establish a solid understanding of the customer’s current and desired maturity states of IT infrastructure, applications, and standard

About you:

  • You have at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Commercial or experience with pricing and writing a services statement of work
  • You have significant experience in a similar role, where you provided both solution, technical, and commercial leadership in the delivery of solutions.
  • You are good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen―you are aligned with our core values
  • You are a professional with strong business acumen and general management guidance abilities
  • You are able to build relationships with C-level executives in client organizations
  • You have experience preparing RFP/Tender response documents like compliance with the RFP, bill of materials, commercial/pricing, and solution documents to drive a successful response.
