Job DescriptionThe GRC Platform Administrator will work closely with the Governance Risk and Compliance team. They will develop, maintain, support and add features to the low code GRC system but will also support the IT functions needed to report on the data this system will provide. Improve operational efficiency and regulatory compliance within OUTsurance and aligning the system changes with its sister companies in Ireland and YOUI in Australia by being flexible to communicate and meet in these stakeholder’s time zones.
Job Responsibilities
Governance:
- Complete system improvement items on the ReadiNow application
- Ensure our support processes are followed and maintained in alignment with ITIL standards adopted at OUTsurance.
- Ensure all OUTsurance IT software change and release processes and standards are followed
Business Analysis, Solution Design & Testing:
- Consult with business areas to optimise and embed the ReadiNow platform at OUTsurance to support their business processes through lean design principles.
- Ensure we understand the problem and business outcome first before working on solution options.
- Ongoing engagement with the ReadiNow team and review of their roadmap of platform updates, to proactively assess the impact on OUTsurance and the level of testing required.
- Consult with other IT areas and system owner to facilitate necessary integrations between applications.
Application Support:
- Focus on providing high quality support across OUTsurance and the wider groups business areas using the ReadiNow platform.
- Collaborating at times with YOUI and Ireland on platform problems, impacting both companies
- Proactive prioritisation of application incidents and keeping our user’s informed of resolution progress.
- Contribute to the management of major incidents in partnership with ReadiNow support team. After hours support (where required for incidents and or platform releases)
Documentation & Reporting:
- Manage continuous maintenance of system related artefacts, updating of support processes and procedures.
- Updating of application incident and change request tickets in 4me and Jira ticketing system.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline preferable
OR
- 4 Years experience in
- Customising and development in low code information systems like ReadiNow / O365 Power Platform /Sharepoint
- Designing, building and developing business processes
OR
- 2 years software development experience

- Problem-Solving Abilities - must be able to analyse issues critically and develop effective solutions. This skill often involves thinking outside the box and leveraging both technical knowledge and creativity to overcome challenges.
- Communication Skills - Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Team Collaboration – positively and proactively collaborate with other team members, the GRC platform team sessions and IT department, to ensure that projects and work items are completed successfully. Candidate should be comfortable using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint itself, and project management software to facilitate teamwork.
- Time Management - have a basic understanding of project management principles can be beneficial. Candidate should be able to manage their time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Motivated - Strive to improve your understanding of our key systems and business processes.
- Self-sufficient - Can work autonomously, high level of self-discipline and initiative while being part of a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness – should be able to test your own work and deploy changes with least number of bugs and comebacks.
Technical Skills
- Technical knowledge in the ReadiNow platform or similar low code information system
- Ability to learn quickly and apply learnings
- Conceptual understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies
- Fundamental understanding of the following technologies and methodologies
- HTML, JavaScript or any programming language
- Business Process reengineering and design
- Conditional statements in any programming language
- Entity-relationships
