As a Graybar Financial Services (GFS) Sales Representative, you will employ telemarketing to generate sales leads for GFS Sales Managers, facilitate the processing of quotations and leases, and promote GFS program capabilities to the sales organization and its external customers, primarily interacting with prospects and customers by telephone or other electronic means of communication.

In this role you will:

  • Act as the sales contact for all Company personnel and customers within assigned territory.
  • Originate and maintain internal and external customer contacts.
  • Telephone potential customers in need of financing or leasing for products and services.
  • Identify genuine leads for referral to GFS Sales Managers for follow-up.
  • Price leases effectively to win business while maximizing fees for GFS.
  • Work with multiple funding sources to achieve the highest quality program for customers to maximize fees.
  • Maintain quarterly contact with all personnel in assigned territory.
  • Assist lease administrator when necessary; help resolve larger customer or pricing issues.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience required; 6+ years of experience preferred
  • Four-year degree required
  • Strong knowledge of sales concepts and techniques
  • Experience with leasing concepts, financial concepts, and reporting
  • Strong sales skills (telemarketing)
  • Excellent skills negotiating pricing with contractors, customers, and funding sources
  • Ability to work well in a group and under limited supervision
  • Expertise structuring a variety of leases including cash flow analysis for energy leases, tax qualified leases, down payments, seasonal, or special payment leases
  • Ability to calculate and manipulate interest rates
  • Ability to assist less-senior employees with the generation and pricing of leases

Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, in office

Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $25.00 per hour depending on experience. This position is also commission eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.
