Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

The Decoration Services team is responsible for the custom embellishment of Arc’teryx technical outerwear for a range of outdoor professionals and organizations. As Graphics Coordinator, Decoration Services you will ensure that all customer-provided artwork is correctly formatted for production and will provide digital mockups showing the correct logo scale, placement and colour on the garment. You are the key point of contact for embellishment artwork and technical embellishment knowledge and will enable efficient delivery of custom-embellished product by maintaining consistent turnaround times for the creation of production-ready artwork files, embellishment samples, and customer-facing mock-ups.
 
Meet Your Future Team:

You will report to the Manager, Decoration Services at Arc’teryx Design Centre and you will work collaboratively with Decoration Services Project Coordinators, PRO Strategic Sales Account Managers, and both internal production teams and external embellishment suppliers and vendors in Canada, the United States and in Europe.

If you were our Graphics Coordinator, Decoration Services now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Assessing customer-provided artwork for usability in both embroidery, heat transfer and various patch-style applications.
  • Formatting graphics files for production and updating project folders and customer records accordingly.
  • Producing digital proofs for customers to review and approve logo scale, colour, and placement on garment.
  • Tracing and re-creating supplied non-vector artwork.
  • Generating stock text-based graphics.
  • Ordering heat transfer samples and embroidery files, and assessing sample quality to ensure it meets company standards.
  • Managing timelines with heat transfer suppliers, embroidery digitizers and any other external suppliers to ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Working with PRO account managers to provide support on artwork and technical embellishment related questions.
  • Assisting Order Coordinators with order processing tasks as needed.
  • Maintaining and updating digital templates and stock artwork archives as needed
  • Assisting production team with seasonal wash testing of embellishment materials
  • Upholding Fair Labour Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain

Are you our next Graphics Coordinator, Decoration Services?

  • You have a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Graphic Design and a relevant portfolio of work.
  • You have experience preparing graphics for a production environment.
  • You possess expertise with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • You exercise good design judgement and understand fundamentals and best-practices of typography, design and layout  
  • You manage time effectively and work to maintain consistent turnaround times.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail.
  • You balance autonomy with collaboration.
