Red Carrot is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support a high-visibility federal communications contract. This role supports the customer's External Affairs office in developing compelling visual communications that advance the agency's mission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist senior staff in the design and development of posters, exhibits, publications, photos, graphic designs, brochures, reports, and other outreach materials
- Design and develop presentations, partner templates, kiosks, speeches, and fact sheets
- Create static and digital graphics, animations, icons, and other illustration and multimedia material optimized for web and print
- Create or refresh templates for standard products such as fact sheets, brochures, flyers, and reports
- Coordinate the production process of all printed and interactive pieces
- Ensure all graphics and products created are 508 compliant
- Support customer brand consistency across all deliverables
- BA in Art, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Media, Studio Arts, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in graphic design
- Demonstrated experience assisting senior staff members in design and development of posters, exhibits, publications, photos, graphic designs, brochures, reports, and other outreach materials
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing presentations, partner templates, kiosks, speeches, and fact sheets
- Demonstrated experience coordinating the production process of all printed and interactive pieces
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to obtain the required government Fitness Determination
Skills Required
- BA in Art, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Media, Studio Arts, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in graphic design
