That’s why we’re looking for someone who not only brings deep experience but is excited to help invent a new kind of design practice—without a blueprint. Someone ready to shape what a brand like this can become. Reporting to the Head of Brand Design, we are seeking a Graphic Designer to help us scale and maintain what this unique project looks and feels like. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand both strategic objectives and operational requirements, translating these insights into clear and culturally resonant design materials that meet high creative standards.

As a Graphic Designer, you will help conceptualize and design production materials (print and digital) for the World, the World Foundation, Tools for Humanity, and the initiatives that grow from them in alignment with brand systems and guidelines. These production materials will balance both emotional and logical purposes, from evoking a feeling to serving a clear utility and direction to the user. You will report to the Head of Brand Design and work directly with other designers and diverse stakeholders across the organization to understand strategic, production and operational needs and translate them into compelling, simple, local and accessible design materials that maintain a high creative standard and attention to detail. Your work will have high visibility globally and support strategic and operational priorities for many teams across the organization (e.g., product, operations, legal, data privacy, communications, etc.).

In this role, you will:
  • Conceptualize and design print and digital materials for production (e.g., mechanicals, print specs) in alignment with brand system and guidelines for the World, World Foundation and Tools for Humanity brands

  • Scale the brand design system globally and across surfaces with your agile and efficient approaches, while maintaining a high creative standard and attention to detail

  • Be responsible for identifying systems to improve how design is scaled (e.g., toolkits of pre-approved assets)

  • Respond to a high-demand of inbound design requests from cross-functional teams, often with tight timelines and back and forth

  • Execute design and revisions according to creative direction and stakeholder feedback in a timely manner, vocalizing your options and perspectives to improve design outcomes

  • Be strategic, always leading with the objectives or the strategy of any work and with a user-first approach

  • Occasionally design and uplevel high-stakes slide deck presentations (10-15% of capacity)

  • Work on and prioritize multiple projects at the same time for different markets and brands around the world

  • Create high-fidelity visual assets, graphic materials, sketch and concept ideas, work on a wide range of print and digital projects (e.g., educational materials, global signage, decals, pamphlets, marketing materials)

  • Collaborate with a wider group of designers, producers and operations managers

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, including the discovery and use of AI where it can help you be more effective

  • Be based in San Francisco, in-office minimum 4 days per week

About you:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in graphic design print and digital, including knowledge of press and printing processes

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma and other graphic design software, After Effect a plus

  • Strong eye for design, page composition and layout

  • Hands-on design skills and creation of high-fidelity mockups, illustrations and assets

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects across teams

  • Hard work ethic and self-starter attitude: with readiness to do whatever it takes to deliver projects on time and at a high creative standard; we are a small team and enjoy flexing our skillsets to help each other

  • Strong time management, communication skills and presentation skills

  • Experience working with design systems for large brands across projects

  • You possess US work authorization

  • Bonus skills (any of the following are always valued on our creative team though not necessary): typography, color theory, motion design, video production, videography, video editing, photography, Web3/crypto knowledge.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Demonstrated expertise in UI/UX design, translating complex ideas into intuitive, user-first experiences that balance brand expression with clarity and usability.

  • Skilled at extending and evolving design systems across digital and print, ensuring accessibility, cultural resonance, and a seamless user journey.

We are a fast-paced start up with extremely high ambitions. We are also fun and making a genuine impact on the world.
