Launched in Bahrain in 2019, we have since expanded to 7 countries in the region, delivered millions of meals to our customers, and launched our very own Grab & Go Cafe concepts.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a part-time Graphic Designer to create engaging, on-brand visuals in a fast-paced, growing start-up environment. As part of our dynamic marketing team, you’ll work on a variety of campaigns and content that directly support Calo’s growth.
The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, and detail-oriented, able to move quickly from concept to execution while managing a part-time schedule. You’ll be responsible for conducting research, staying on top of design trends, and delivering visual solutions that align with Calo’s marketing strategy and business goals
Main Responsibilities
- Design assets across channels: social media, email, digital ads, landing pages, and packaging
- Translate marketing briefs into visual campaigns that are on-brand, high-converting, and beautifully crafted
- Collaborate with copywriters and marketers to develop creative concepts
- Contribute to evolving the brand’s visual language in partnership with the Design and Marketing team
- Prepare and deliver production-ready design files (static and animated, if applicable)
- Ensure visual consistency across all channels and campaigns
- Support product and content teams with UI visuals, presentations, or branded templates
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience in graphic design (agency or in-house).
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design styles, marketing materials, and campaigns.
- Bonus: Experience with food, wellness, or lifestyle brands.
Knowledge & Competency
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Bonus: Familiarity with Figma, After Effects, and Canva
- Excellent sense of typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling
- Comfortable working within brand guidelines while thoughtfully pushing boundaries
- Well organized with strong attention to detail and file naming/workflow hygiene
