The New York Red Bulls are one of 30 Major League Soccer (MLS) teams. RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, has competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull, for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.
Purpose of this Job
You will work along a small team of a senior graphic designer, art director, creative director and freelancers. Daily priorities will revolve around producing and overseeing creative solutions that cover the New York Red Bulls, Red Bulls II, Red Bull Academy and Sports Illustrated Stadium. You will collaborate with all partners and departments throughout the organization to bring their projects to life. You will inspire and evoke creativity in your direct report and how our content is produced and delivered. You will require an in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles, layout techniques and unique perspectives to promote the New York Red Bulls brand through delivering high quality pieces while maintaining the integrity of the brand of Red Bull.
Job Description
- Apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identity of the club
- Design projects including but not limited to: print, logo design, branding, digital advertisement, promotional items, social content graphics, merchandise and more
- Precise proofing of all materials
- Communication with outside vendors
- Capable of project management while working on multiple design projects at a given time
- Experiment and evolve how the brand approach social graphics
- Attend home matches and available to tackle projects for away matches
Qualifications
- Excellent design experience and a creative thinker
- Accepting and working with feedback and critiques
- Detail-oriented, especially under deadline pressure
- Excellent at project management: highly organized and communicative
- Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign
