Job Description
Position Summary:
This role is key in shaping and executing the visual communication strategies for ITW Construction Products Offsite’s brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a variety of digital and print marketing materials while ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. As part of the in-house design team, this position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across both print and digital formats.
We are seeking a versatile graphic designer to contribute to our Offsite brands by developing effective design solutions that achieve strong results. The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with the commercial, product, and technical departments, as well as other key internal teams, to ensure all design efforts align with and support the company’s 80/20 front-to-back business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop marketing collateral that effectively communicate our commercial messaging.
- Create technical materials with a strong focus on precision and attention to detail.
- Design print and digital materials, newsletters, invitations, advertisements, presentations, and exhibition graphics, packaging, ensuring a cohesive visual identity.
- Oversee the entire design process, including conceptualisation, amending, proofing, and finalising designs for a variety of materials such as brochures, flyers, technical documents, and other marketing assets.
- Proactively suggest creative design solutions that differentiate the ITW Construction Products Offsite brand from competitors.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Technical, and Commercial teams, offering design advice to deliver effective solutions tailored to specific briefs.
- Coordinate with the Marketing team to revise and strengthen visual identity and brand guidelines, ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
- Create visually engaging content that enhances social media presence and overall brand communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers (print and signage companies), including negotiating costs and managing the production of printed materials.
- Learn our value propositions, leveraging our extensive differentiation to create impactful collateral that effectively showcases our offerings.
- To always embody the ITW core principles of Integrity, Simplicity, Trust, Respect, Shared Risk acting as true ambassadors for all Offsite brands.
Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of experience in Graphic Design, ideally in an agency or B2B environment
- A genuine passion for creative content and a solid understanding of the latest marketing and graphic design trends across advertising, digital, and social media
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to work towards tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work
- A methodical approach to work and meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborative skills to work closely with mixed internal stakeholders and taking a leading on projects
- Self-motivation and the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to know when to ask for help
- Experience with computer design packages such as the Adobe Creative Cloud
