As a Graphic Designer, you will:
- Be the contributing or lead designer for projects including collateral, environmental graphics, event promotion, and social media for client projects across campus.
- Initiate and attend planning meetings and independently communicate throughout a project’s lifespan in order to meet client goals and expectations.
- Perform daily project tracking, timeline management, and coordination with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications office.
- Support photo shoots, installation, and project management as needed.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design or related field – or equivalent experience preferred
- 1-3 years experience required
Required Knowledge:
- Understanding of effective client communication; ability to collaborate with a variety of constituencies, including various College departments and stakeholders, such as students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
- The design of and importance of branding systems, and a working knowledge of design history through current trends.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products
Required Skills:
- Application of visual design standards, and awareness and/or knowledge of design requirements for a variety of mediums.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with strong interpersonal and communication (oral, presentation, written) skills and the ability to use tact and sound judgment in all activities.
- Experience with editing and optimizing images for use in various media

- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize within multiple deadlines, and to work independently when necessary.
