Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs seeks a Graphic Designer to join our Design team, working across Ready to Wear & Leather Goods. This role is ideal for a creative individual with a strong aesthetic sensibility, an ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling visuals, and a deep understanding of the luxury fashion landscape.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and execute innovative graphic concepts across ready-to-wear and leather goods, ensuring alignment with the brand’s artistic direction.
  • Design prints, patterns, illustrations, and textile graphics for seasonal collections, ensuring a seamless integration with silhouettes and materials.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and product development teams to bring graphic ideas to life in both physical and digital forms.
  • Research and experiment with new techniques, applications, and materials to push creative boundaries.
  • Maintain an acute awareness of fashion, art, culture, and graphic trends, infusing fresh perspectives into design proposals.
  • Oversee the development of graphic assets, ensuring a high standard of execution from concept through production.
  • Work in partnership with product development, design, vendors and manufacturers to ensure accurate application of graphics on textiles, leather, and other surfaces.
  • Create compelling visual presentations to communicate design ideas effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • CAD up designs onto base sketches to visualize and refine graphic placements.
  • Create renderings to enhance presentation materials and communicate design intent clearly.
  • Execute graphic tech packs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 6+ years of experience in graphic design within a fashion house, or high-end brand.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing work across RTW, accessories, and leather goods.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong illustration skills, with the ability to create hand-drawn and digital artworks.
  • An understanding of textile printing, embroidery techniques, and material application.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A natural collaborator with strong communication and presentation skills.

SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER: 
The compensation for this position ranges from $65,000 - $75,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, we offer our employees a comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, vacation time, sick and personal time, medical, dental and vision insurance, and 401k matching.
