Job Summary:

We're looking for a talented and versatile Mid-Level Graphic Designer to join our creative team on a contract basis for approximately 75 hours, with timing and total hours dependent on the agreed hourly rate and project needs. You'll be responsible for a wide range of design projects, including web, print, and general marketing materials. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong grasp of design principles, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently while upholding brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Execution:
    • Create high-quality visual assets for a variety of projects, including websites, marketing collateral, email campaigns, presentations, and other digital and print materials.
    • Develop and execute designs that are visually appealing, on-brand, and effective in communicating the intended message.
    • Ensure all designs adhere to established brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand identity across all channels.
  • Web Design:
    • Design and develop visually engaging and user-friendly website layouts and assets based on current web design trends and best practices.
  • Print Design:
    • Design and prepare files for a variety of print materials, such as brochures, flyers, posters, and presentations.
    • Ensure print designs are accurate, high-quality, and meet printing specifications.
  • Brand Adherence:
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the company's brand guidelines and ensure all designs adhere to these standards.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
    • Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and other departments.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas and develop creative concepts.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work across different mediums (web, print, digital).
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with video design and editing using Adobe After Effects
  • Experience with Asana for project management
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with motion graphics and Lottie animation
  • Illustration skills
