Title: Graphic Designer, Brand Studio

Job Overview:
Our global creative brand studio team is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This graphic designer will primarily be focused on offline (print) collateral across our diverse portfolio of brands including DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY, BLACK+DECKER, CUBCADET, TROYBILT, Hustler and others. This individual should have a highly trained eye for detail with an ability to execute creative across a range of deliverables using the Adobe Suite including Point of Purchase, signage, large format even graphics, brochures and catalogs. The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter, comfortable with taking charge of their project work from briefing through delivery while collaborating with project managers, art directors, and brand marketers to execute on-brand collateral.
The Ideal Candidate will be able to:
- Execute high quality designs using the adobe suite with a proven track record of design capabilities
- Step out design executions using briefing and intake forms along with working knowledge of Brand design standards and assets
- Work with Photoshop layers, color schemes, color correction, fonts, and clipping paths for image manipulation as well as renderings of creative for spec ideas
- Work with InDesign for page layout, master pages, character and paragraph styles, data merges
- Expertly organize files and follow process standards with an obsession with clean and well-organized design files throughout the development lifecycle.
- Design with a resourceful, problem-solving approach that isn’t afraid to suggest process optimizations, time saving techniques, or new concept proposals.
- Communicate with effective English skills in both speaking and writing, with the ability to understand and communicate context clearly and effectively.
- Work under pressure and track details and changes across multiple projects
- Interact with various stakeholders in the studio and marketing team along the project lifecycle, track changes and work through revisions as required
- Demonstrate knowledge of pre-press and print production, ability to communicate with print vendors for quality control and problem solving as needed
- Assist with creative file management and standards maintenance, experience with Adobe Libraries
- Stay connected with software capabilities and best practices
- Experience with PowerPoint design and master slides a plus
- Experience with Adobe Libraries and Box.com Enterprise a plus
Education and Technical Requirements
- A 4-year degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of work experience with an in-house creative team or advertising agency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent English in conversation and in writing.
- A portfolio featuring relevant work experience and examples (required).
- Workfront experience for managing and tracking tasks (a plus).
- Familiarity with AI automation techniques to implement into workflow (a highly desirable plus).
