About the Role:
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer and Video Editor to join the creative team at Meragi and help shape how our brand shows up on social media.
Meragi plans and executes weddings end to end, from venue and decor to the final event experience. This gives us access to a wide range of creative content, including real weddings, decor setups, venue shoots and behind-the-scenes moments. We're looking for someone who can transform this content into engaging reels, carousels and social media creatives that capture attention and make people stop scrolling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit engaging reels using wedding footage, venue shoots and behind-the-scenes content.
- Design visually appealing carousels and social media creatives.
- Turn creative briefs into polished, ready-to-post content.
- Stay updated with trending formats, hooks, transitions and editing styles.
- Maintain Meragi's visual identity while using AI tools and collaborating with the creative/social media team.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in video editing and social media content creation.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects.
- Comfortable with Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva for static designs.
- Strong eye for pacing, typography, composition and visual storytelling.
- Ability to independently execute briefs with creativity and attention to detail; experience with wedding, lifestyle, fashion or luxury brands is a plus.
Skills Required
- 2+ years of experience in video editing and social media content creation
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of After Effects
