We are seeking a creative and results-driven Graphic Design and Marketing Specialist to develop and distribute sales collateral, marketing materials, and promotional tools that support ASB sales associates. This role is responsible for creating compelling content that effectively communicates value, strengthens client engagement, and drives sales growth with both prospective and existing customers. The ideal candidate will manage and execute key marketing initiatives, selecting the most effective channels, media, and design approaches while ensuring consistency with the ASB brand and visual identity.

This is a hybrid position that includes onsite work in Glenwood, MN, as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned.

  • Design print and digital content and tools that help sales associates market to end customers.

  • Work as a part of the marketing team to develop new ideas and build upon current marketing initiatives.

  • Maintain ASB brand standards in all forms of marketing and communications.

  • Write and proof collateral and copy for case studies, social media posts, and other marketing collateral.

  • Collaborate with team members and vendor partners to merchandise and source product collections for key marketing and event initiatives.

  • Coordinate, shoot, and edit photos of products and people at ASB’s major events and as needed for additional projects or requests.

  • Identifying market trends to coordinate, shoot and edit customer-friendly video content and share across social platforms.

  • Manage large projects, coordinating with other departments and defining detailed project outlines to meet established deadlines.

  • Support Internal Branding Manager in requested updates to design and flow of company website.

  • Support Communications & PR Specialist in social media strategy, creating and editing communications templates and other graphic needs.

  • Generate ideas, create content, and execute rollout of social media strategy to expand audience reach.

  • Manage products, inventory levels and details within ASB’s Associate Store.

  • Consult sales associates who need support in developing or updating their marketing strategy, websites or content planning on social media platforms.

  • Present marketing updates, overviews and trainings to ASB salespeople and suppliers.

  • Research, present, and implement human-centered AI strategies to streamline internal processes – not AI as a standalone tool for content creation.

  • Multi-day and/or overnight travel as necessary (2-4 times per year) to attend ASB conferences and other supplier tradeshows throughout the year.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A good understanding of marketing and branding is also desired.

Core Competencies

Position requires a high level of creativity, self-direction and motivation. Must be able to effectively prioritize, manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is required. Additional competencies include high attention to detail and accuracy, planning and organizing and initiative.

Language Skills

It is necessary to be able to read and interpret documents such as invoices, instructions and procedure manuals. Must be able to write correspondence, marketing copy and be able to speak effectively before groups of Sales Associates, leadership or fellow team members. Accuracy in spelling and grammar is required.

Mathematical Skills

Duties require the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Incumbent must have ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Also required is the ability to interpret a variety of instructions and training furnished in written, oral, video, diagram or schedule form.

Computer Skills

Duties require proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Professional. Working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash, After Effects (or similar) software, InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint is desired. A working knowledge of photography is also desired.
