What You'll Do...
- Create assets to support Acres.com, corporate communications, and culture initiatives
- Produce a wide variety of assets including website graphics, landing pages, digital ads, print ads, downloadable guides, social graphics, product sheets, case studies, printed brochures, and event materials
- Maintain our brand guidelines, updating as needed based on direction
- Collaborate well across other teams to produce assets that meet the needs of each department while maintaining our brand standards
- Own key design asset templates such as sales deck and keep files updated and accessible to appropriate parties
- Manage intake of work and communicate workload concerns proactively
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, requirements, and business goals
- Within 30 days, develop a deep understanding of Acres business and customer offerings
- Understand Acres mission and core values
- Be able to defend thoughts and ideas internally in a professional manner when challenged
Skills You'll Develop
- You'll develop a diverse portfolio by gaining hands-on experience creating a wide range of design assets across digital and print mediums (website graphics, landing pages, digital/print ads, social graphics, brochures, etc.), showcasing your skills.
- You'll learn practical brand management and application by contributing to the maintenance of brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across various communication channels and departmental needs.
- You'll develop valuable teamwork and communication skills by collaborating with different teams, understanding their requirements, and presenting and defending your design ideas professionally.
- Within the first 30 days, you'll gain insight into Acres' business model and customer offerings, experiencing the design process from understanding needs to delivering final assets in a real-world business environment
Key Competencies / Requirements
- Passion for your craft coupled with openness to critique
- Experience working as a Graphic Designer or other similar position
- A strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Exceptional relationship building, customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to expand existing design skill set, learn new systems, and explore new design trends and techniques
- Strong time management and decision-making skills
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines and can be adaptable to changes in priorities
- Proficiency with design tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
- Ability to work within a collaborative and iterative user-centered design process
- Ability to be nimble and flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of how to effectively use color, space, and typography
- Ability to receive constructive feedback
- Strong communication skill and ability to effectively convey your ideas to others
- Comfort in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to self-start with a strong bias for action

Details
- Pay: $15/hour
- Schedule: 40-hour week: typically 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday
- Length of Internship: 3 months
- Location: Bentonville, Arkansas
