Job Description
The intern supports the creation and rebranding of marketing materials across various
platforms, including flyers, catalogs, trade show graphics, and presentations. This role involves
working within established templates while also designing new materials for upcoming product
launches. Additionally, the intern will contribute to branding initiatives by manipulating photos,
updating engineering drawings for visual use, and supporting the overall look and feel of
customer-facing content.
Key Responsibilities
- Create marketing materials including product flyers, brochures, catalogs, and trade show
- graphics
- Support rebranding efforts by updating legacy materials to match current brand
- templates
- Design clear, visually engaging PowerPoint presentations for internal and external
- audiences
- Transform technical content and engineer drawings into clean, branded visuals
- Edit and manipulate photos to enhance marketing materials
- Collaborate across teams to ensure all design work aligns with brand identity and
- business objectives
- Assist in the development and maintenance of design templates and style guidelines
- Contribute creative ideas for marketing new products while respecting brand consistency
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
- Portfolio that showcases creative thinking, clean execution, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and work independently on multiple projects
- Experience working on branding or visual identity projects
- Familiarity with presentation design and storytelling through visuals
- Ability to interpret technical content and make it visually digestible
- Interest in branding, marketing strategy, and elevating the customer experience through design

The expected compensation range for this position is between $18-22/hr.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At Syntegon compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at Syntegon include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
