Description. Chimera Enterprises International is seeking a Graphic Artist to support the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO- CBRND) JPEO-CBRND Medical Office. The JPEO-CBRND manages our nation’s investments in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense equipment, and medical countermeasures. battlespace worldwide. This position requires a Secret clearance.
Job Duties:

  • Analyze the strategic environment and align organizational communications approaches to efficiently generate messages to multiple stakeholders.
  • Compose communications, and tailor them to specific audiences, incorporating effective design elements to enhance and strengthen the products.
  • Develop innovative graphical communications products and designs which follow organizational visual identity and meet project objectives, including but not limited to the following:
    • Technical art
    • Info graphics: charts, diagrams, photos, illustrations/images, schedules, and timelines
    • Briefings/presentations
    • Visual identity/branding: logos, business cards, stationary, and templates
    • Publications: magazines, newspapers, newsletters, and books
    • Displays/conference materials: brochures, posters, tent cards, folders, bios, briefs, and display banners
    • Marketing/advertisements
    • Multimedia: animations, videos, web interface graphics
    • Signs
    • Labels: cd/dvd
    • Covers/bindings: binders
    • Forms
    • Coins
  • Analyze and support the design development process, including schedules, costs, and resources needed to efficiently produce high quality work on time and to specification.
  • Analyze the strategic environment of the requiring office and efficiently convey information to multiple stakeholders.
  • Create brand-specific aesthetics to ensure branding and visual communications marketing material for the requiring office are cutting edge and meet the strategic message.
  • Present products which are tailored to specific audiences, clearly express the information intended to be shared, and incorporate effective design elements to enhance and strengthen the message.
  • Present ideas to senior leadership.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Possess superior skills with Adobe Creative Suite design software (i.e., CS5, CS6, or CC), to include Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, and Acrobat.
  • Possess superior skills in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook and possess a working knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the creative requirements of multiple marketing communications media (i.e., advertising, direct marketing, interactive, and collateral) in both print and broadcast mediums.
  • Proficiency in using both Apple Mac and PC platforms.
  • Possess conceptual, design, and project management skills.


Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design
