About the Role:

As a Grants Project Manager supporting our Federal government client, you will oversee and manage complex projects supporting federal grant program administration, compliance, and impact assessment. This role requires a strong foundation in project management, data analytics, and team leadership to ensure high-quality, timely project deliverables that align with our strategic goals. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring project activities, ensuring the quality and compliance of each deliverable, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Manage a consulting team’s daily activities and provide career development for grants and project management professionals.
  • Oversee project activities related to grant program assessments, financial compliance, and risk management to ensure project goals are met.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align on milestones, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and accuracy standards within established timelines.
  • Manage the development and deployment of data analytic solutions that support program performance, risk assessment, and compliance, including predictive models and custom analytics.
  • Oversee documentation and policy development for grant administration, ensuring clear and consistent communication and compliance with standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure effective program management.
  • Supervise and guide a team of senior-level personnel, ensuring high performance and adherence to contract requirements.
  • Lead business development initiatives, including drafting proposals, building client relationships, and exploring new project opportunities aligned with Corner Alliance’s growth goals.
  • Embody a culture of growth, innovation, and trust within the team and across the organization.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members about their performance and growth during their tenure at Corner Alliance.

Location:

You will work as part of a dynamic team in the metro-accessible Washington, DC area.

Required Experience/Skills: 

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Program Management, or a related discipline.
    • 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with a PMP certification may be substituted for the Master’s degree.
  • Working knowledge of federal grant-making policies, procedures, and administration. 
  • Demonstrated ability in independently initiating, leading, and managing large, complex support service projects.
  • Proven success in managing multiple simultaneous projects and leading senior-level personnel to achieve strategic goals.
  • Strong experience in full lifecycle project management, including project planning, risk identification and mitigation, and cost estimation and monitoring.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in working in a fast-paced environment where priorities routinely shift with an emphasis on mission needs.
  • US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting the Department of Justice grant programs
