Graduate Trainee, Supply Chain

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities. The role manages electrical and instrumentation maintenance, preventive servicing, equipment troubleshooting, contractors, facility services, improvement projects, compliance documentation, and cost-control initiatives.
This role is part of Ecolab Graduate Trainee Program which is designed to develop future leaders through structured rotational assignments across different Supply Chain functions. The program focuses on building broad business and operational exposure rather than specialization in a function.

Maintenance Job Scope:

  • Troubleshoot E&I-related equipment, ensuring optimum operating conditions are met by the company, regulatory and reliability standards.
  • Oversee the preventive maintenance for E&I and perform root cause analysis to counter any failures.
  • Manage the improvement works in the plant and manage contractors to complete the tasks.
  • Daily schedule works follow-up with contractors to execute maintenance timely and effectively.
  • Responsible to ensure ISO/Mandatory calibration document, instrument files, and work order documentation, Purchase orders are timely completed with accuracy in accordance with SOPs.
  • Assist in documentation pertaining to procedures, qualities, and safety of maintenance work.

Facility Job Scope:

  • Oversee building maintenance, contracts and service management that including security, cleaning, landscaping and office equipment services.
  • Manage emergency and ad-hoc repairs, breakdowns, and troubleshooting. Provide technical support and attendance where necessary.
  • Plan and execute improvement projects to ensure that they are carried out within timeline and budget.
  • Lease Administration including keeping and maintaining proper records of all documents and correspondences.
  • Responsible for all the facility-related spend and executing saving projects, cost control etc.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for managing meeting room partition arrangements, attending to ad hoc repairs, and liaising with the Facilities Management team at the regional office.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is required
  • Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Please note that this role is based in West area of Singapore, and candidates should be comfortable commuting to or working in the western part of Singapore on a daily basis.
  • Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability and facility management.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with SAP module is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn and able to work effectively in a cross functional manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to rotate across different Supply Chain functions as part of the Graduate Trainee Program.
  • Strong interest in building a long-term career in Supply Chain leadership.
