Our world-class graduate programmeAs a graduate trainee at RBS International, we’ll give you the best possible start to your career by equipping you with the knowledge, skills, and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact through your work.
Over the course of this two-year programme, you can expect to:
- Participate in four distinct rotations across RBS International in Jersey
- Learn from industry experts and immediately apply your learnings
- Build a truly holistic view of RBS International
- Explore cutting edge tools and technology to tackle financial crime and fraud
- Implement new digital tools and processes to improve our customer journeys
- Gain unique experiences through rotating in our Institutional Banking business
- Discover how global regulations impact the work we do
We’ll reward you with a starting salary of £36,000 a year, as well as an additional location allowance of £3450. And on top of your salary, you’ll have access to our flexible benefits package.

At the end of the programme, you’ll be well positioned to secure a job in project management, relationship and portfolio management, solution design, digital journey management, and product development.
Entry requirementsTo be eligible for our RBS International graduate programme, you’ll need:
- To have, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree
- A growth mindset and passion for learning
- To enjoy collaborating and working as part of a team
- A customer-first approach
- To be a keen problem solver
- Attention to detail
- A genuine desire to help us become a relationship bank for a digital world
The application window for this programme will be open until we receive enough applications to fill our cohort. When that happens, we’ll close the programme to new applications. It’s important to take the time to make sure you’re making the right decision about the programme you want to apply for (you can only apply for one programme) but please complete your application as soon as you can to make sure you don’t miss out!
Not all of our graduate programmes offer Skilled Worker sponsorship. We will only offer sponsorship if there is a business requirement to do so and the job meets Skilled Worker Visa eligibility criteria.
