Role Summary
- Strong hands-on experience in RHOCP Platform, routing and switching and Cisco Network Hardware.- Strong practical knowledge of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, network protocols, port configuration, link aggregation, spanning tree optimization, and performance tuning
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- RedHat OpenShift certification is a strong plus.
- Deep knowledge of Container technology.
- Should have very strong and deep knowledge of SDN (Software Defined Network)
- Develop and execute Proof of Concept and/or Deployment Acceptance test plan and test reports
- Develop implementation guide with configuration templates and deployment plan for the customers deploying SDN products
- Execute or assist our customer executing the deployment plan
- Provide technical direction to internal teams and customers based on customer business requirements
- Experience in Open Shift is Required.
- Experience in Unix operating system (Required)
- Experience in scripting (Preferred)
- Load Balancers : Troubleshoot hardware and software operation. Strong knowledge on all data flow through the load balancer
Key Responsibilities
- Adding new projects to Openshift, writing blueprints
- Participating in Architectural discussions
- Guiding team on various Openshift components and solutions
- Handling network outages that involve debugging and providing immediate resolutions.
- Working closely with customers and onsite teams across the globe.
- Raising and tracking issues with other partner vendors.
Job Requirements
Skills:
- Container technologies Docker, Kubernetes Infrastructure-as-as-Service IaaS products·
- Red hat OpenShift platform is mandatory.
- 8 + years of experience in the IT/Telecom industry and 4 + year of experience in cloud computing.
- Experience in working with virtualization technologies (vSphere, Xen, KVM, Red Hat Virtualization, Docker) and cloud technologies like OpenStack and OpenShift Platform.
- Strong working & troubleshooting experience in Linux/CentOS/Ubuntu.
- Strong working experience in L2/L3 networking protocol. Good exposure to IPV4 and IPV6. BGP / OSFP routing protocol.
- Should be conversant with CLI for OpenShift modules.
- Network Design and Planning for teleco grade deployment.
- Understanding of core networking topology and devices (switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers)
- Experience on Shell Scripting or Python·
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong communication and writing skills are required.
- Ansible/Chef/Salt any configuration automation language is preferable.
