Graduate Process Engineer

About the Role

Essity is looking for a talented and self-motivated graduate in the field of process engineering to join our largest finished goods converting site in Neenah, Wisconsin.  This position is suitable for those who have already completed their studies. You will be part of the team working on the tissue paper and converting machines and in our Neenah Converting location.

What You Will Do

As a graduate engineer you will play a central role in challenging the status quo, driving change and making a positive impact by delivering concrete results within our global hygiene and health business. You will be joining our professional converting production team at Neenah, where you will work closely with experienced colleagues and developing your knowledge and skills as follows:

  • Manage safety-oriented processes for yourself and others.

  • Learning to follow established engineering principles to determine the sequence of steps or processes required to manufacture tissue-based consumer products that meet the organization’s high standards of quality and cost

  • Performing standard technical tasks and prepare standard operation sheets.

  • Monitoring production processes and work methods; collecting, compiling, and analyzing production data to identify opportunities to improve production processes.

  • Learning to troubleshoot (for example, following root cause analysis methodology)  

  • Driving projects to support continuous improvements and deliverables

  • Driving your own continued learning and complete industry-specific in-house training modules

Who You Are
  • Recently graduated engineer (bachelor's or master's degree qualified)

  • Has a natural focus on the environment and a compulsive curiosity about how engineering can play its part in delivering for the future. 

  • Data driven and a process-improvement enthusiast who can demonstrate that you are a successful team player, have a passion to lead others and manage responsibilities given to you. 

  • Work experience is not required, but internships within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
