Your Responsibilities

From day one, you get involved in real engineering challenges. With support from mentors and technical experts, you build broad experience across teams and projects before developing deeper knowledge in the areas that interest you most.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Support mechanical design, specification and engineering assessment activities.
  • Prepare calculations, technical notes, reports and engineering documentation.
  • Take part in design reviews, technical meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Use engineering tools and apply relevant standards with guidance from experienced colleagues.
  • Help teams identify and resolve technical issues, risks and interfaces.

  • Have, or expect to achieve, a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Additional Information

Eligibility Requirements:

To join our Graduate Scheme, you must be a UK sole national and a UK resident, as this is required for the type of work we do. You’ll also need to be able to obtain a minimum of Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, with some roles requiring higher levels of clearance.

As part of the programme, you should also be willing to relocate or travel within the UK, and we’ll provide relocation support where needed.
