Our Applied Science practice leverages a unique combination of technologies and expertise to engineer practical solutions to problems of national and international importance. We apply expertise in solid and fluid dynamics, materials science, acoustics, risk assessments and computational simulation methods to solve complex problems. We have an exciting opportunity for Engineers to join our Applied Science team in Perth, Australia. Our team combines deep technical expertise with innovative thinking to deliver bespoke engineering solutions for complex industry challenges.
Our clients include Oil & Gas and petrochemical operators, EPCM contractors, specialized consultants, and industry bodies. As a client-facing business, our projects provide early exposure to direct client engagement, allowing you to develop strong commercial and communication skills alongside your technical capabilities.

What You’ll Do
Responsibilities will vary depending on your experience, technical background, and current project requirements, but the role may involve supporting projects across a range of disciplines including:
Structural dynamics
Technical safety
Thermo-fluids
Risk and hazard assessment
Recent project work has included:
Fire load response analysis
Blast analysis and design for critical infrastructure
Hydrocarbon fire modelling for offshore facilities
Advanced fluid flow modelling for process facilities
Seismic assessment and design
Qualitative and quantitative risk assessments
Safety Case support
What You Will Bring
Candidates must hold, at minimum, a bachelor's degree, in engineering, physics, or applied Mathematics
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Programming experience and knowledge of statistical techniques would be advantageous.
