  • Assist with fault identification, problem-solving and technical investigation relating to control systems, instrumentation, auxiliary systems and industrial equipment.
  • Support hardware and software solutions to update, modify and upgrade customer control systems.
  • Participate in site work to apply control system upgrades, update equipment and support the implementation of technical solutions.
  • Support on-site commissioning activities by referring to relevant diagrams, manuals, specifications, procedures and control system documentation.
  • Verify, maintain and troubleshoot control systems, auxiliary systems and instrumentation to help ensure correct device functionality.
  • Assist with control logic, configuration, programming, testing and validation activities under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Support control system upgrade projects, including Mitsubishi Power systems and other customer control system environments.
  • Contribute to activities relating to TOMONI, Mitsubishi Power’s integrated digital solutions platform, including promotion, installation and technical implementation support.
  • Support cybersecurity-related control system activities, including cybersecurity packages, Windows upgrades, network-related improvements and control system resilience.
  • Prepare technical reports, procedures, specifications and other engineering documents in line with the company quality management system.
  • Support sales and tendering activities by providing technical information and documentation for requests for quotation, purchase orders and customer proposals, under the instruction of senior engineers.
  • Work with colleagues across Engineering, Programme Management, Commercial, Tendering and other internal teams to support customer requirements and business opportunities.
  • Travel to power station sites for control system-related work as required.
  • Support customer emergency issues when needed, including occasional off-hours or weekend support where operational circumstances require a rapid response.

  • Ability to read and understand technical diagrams, manuals, procedures and engineering documentation.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and practical approach to technical issues.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to support technical reports, procedures, specifications and proposal documents.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage tasks, priorities and deadlines.
