About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and analytical college graduate to join our team as a Graduate Analyst in the financial services industry. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate eager to start their career in finance, gain hands-on experience, and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Graduate Analyst will support various projects, assist with data analysis, and contribute to strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data and general research on client projects
- Research: Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Client Support: Work closely with client-facing teams to deliver insights and recommendations.
- Project Assistance: Support the execution of key projects, including process improvements, regulatory initiatives, and new product launches.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform additional analysis as needed to support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity in markets and financial industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or work experience in finance, banking, or consulting.
- Basic understanding of financial statements, investment products, and financial markets.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is an advantage.
