Job DescriptionPosition responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;
a. Smooth development of items for local supply
b. Identify feasibly and cost-effective methods for product development
c. Provide on-time estimates with the best production capability
d. Initiate product re-engineering to be ahead of the competition
e. Initiate and drive improvement of speed of developments through the ELS approach
f. Circulation of RBO updates among internal departments
g. Counter sample approvals
h. Develop new products and customers
i. Resolve customer queries related to product development
j. Assist in the pricing of products
k. Maintain Business focus at all times and respond to internal customers’ inquiries
through e-mails and phone using the best practice guidelines.
l. Work within agreed service levels, striving to exceed Organizations' expectations.
m. Take ownership of assigned accounts and proactively follow through with Hub(overseas) and the internal department to set up the article/product at the earliest.
n. Ensure all queries are resolved within the stipulated time frame and escalate issues if appropriate, to the Team Leader.
o. Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external customers, and colleagues.
p. Adhere to agreed standards of quality and productivity. Process all developments with a minimum 99% accuracy rate after proper validation.
q. Assist in gathering business requirements and analysis activities to facilitate Continuous Improvement in Cost reduction by doing Re-engineering.
r. Update all relevant documents and Oracle with at least 99% accuracy after collecting costing from the Finance department.
s. Sensitization of the client requirements and accordingly prioritize the developments.
t. Work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team, and organizational objectives, sharing knowledge and skills as appropriate.
Education : Any Graduate / Engineering
A good knowledge of the industry also required. This position requires a detailed understanding
of the technology, strategies, activities, status and goals of the company. Also needs to work in a
customer account based environment and be capable of independently corresponding with the
internal customers and other Avery Dennison sites overseas in relation to product development
and marketing related activities.
