The Campbell’s Company, a leading manufacturer of snacks, soups and simple meals, and beverages is hiring a summer intern in our Government Affairs department. The successful candidate will be a rising junior majoring in political science, government or public policy. The paid, ten-week internship begins on or after May 19,2025
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Monitor pending legislation and regulations
- Write policy summaries
- Develop and execute communication plans
- Compile contact lists
- Create or update databases
- Assist with filing, records management and other projects as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Political science, government or public policy major, preferred
- Working knowledge of state and federal legislative process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to develop strategic communication skills
- Interest in interaction between government and business
- Ability to work independently and know when to ask questions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be a current undergraduate student returning to school in the fall
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship or assistance from the company
