As a Government Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing government wireless accounts through direct engagement, tailored wireless solutions, and high-level support. You will drive revenue, retention, and relationship development with local government and educational institutions, ensuring C Spire’s wireless services meet their evolving needs.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.

• Responsible for direct management, sales, retention and revenue growth to all Local Wireless Government Accounts.

• Manage and support the business plan and sales strategy developed by Senior Management.

• Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect opportunities including RFPs and quotes.

• Assist Senior Management in maintaining accurate records of pricing, sales, and activity reports.

• Implement action plans developed to penetrate new markets, measuring success through customer acquisition and revenue.

• Ensure ongoing face-to-face contact with customers on a scheduled basis.

• Assist the Wireless State Contract and Operational Team with State Agency Accounts.

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

For Government Wireless Account Executive I, we require:

• Proven sales experience including quota attainment, sales forecasting, and appointment setting.

• Experience in wireless and telecommunications.

• Strong working relationships with local government accounts and K–12 schools.

• A minimum of 5 years of wireless sales experience.

• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

For Government Wireless Account Executive II, we require:

• All qualifications required for Account Executive I.

• A minimum of 12 years of wireless sales experience.

• Proven success managing high-value government and education accounts.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

We will give special consideration to candidates who have:

• A college degree.

• Established relationships with government and education accounts in the designated work area.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Must be able to sit for long periods of time, be able to lift 40 lbs., and lift materials. Must be able to use a computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing computer screen. Some evening or weekends.
