Job Overview:The Head - Technology Governance & Regulatory Compliance provides strategic leadership and vision for Apex Group’s global governance, risk, and compliance function. This role is accountable for developing and executing enterprise-wide GRC strategies that drive innovation, resilience, and regulatory compliance, while optimizing risk management and value and will lead the transformation initiatives across regions and business units.
Key Responsibilities:- Shape and execute the global GRC strategy in alignment with Apex’s business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead governance, risk management, and compliance programs at enterprise scale.
- Oversee regulatory relationships, audits, and board-level reporting.
- Drive innovation and transformation in governance, risk, and compliance practices.
- Represent the GRC function at executive and board meetings.
- Mentor and develop senior managers and analysts within the GRC team.
- Own policy development, regulatory change management, and enterprise risk appetite.
- Set and monitor KPIs for governance, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Champion continuous improvement and best practices across the enterprise.
- Execute delegated tasks as deemed appropriate by the Group CISO and other empowered Group Cyber leadership authorities, ensuring timely and effective completion in alignment with organizational priorities.
- Support the Group Cyber Strategy end-to-end, driving alignment of all activities, decisions, and deliverables with strategic objectives and business outcomes.
- 5 -6 years in technology governance, risk, and compliance, including global leadership roles.
- Proven success in regulatory engagement, audit management, and board-level reporting.
- Deep expertise in GRC frameworks, standards (ISO, NIST, COBIT, etc.), and regulatory environments.
- Strong strategic, commercial, and negotiation skills.
