Google Cloud Architect (Infrastructure)

We are looking for a Cloud Architect who can design and implement scalable, production-grade systems on Google Cloud — and be technically credible in front of demanding clients.

You will work at the intersection of architecture, implementation, and customer trust. This is not a pure DevOps role and not a slide-deck architect role. It’s hands-on architecture with ownership.
Your mission

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures on GCP
• Turn business and system requirements into secure, scalable infrastructure and platform designs
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer’s GCP journey
• Support presales with feasibility, scoping, and architecture validation
• Work closely with Engineers, Tech Leads, and Solution Architects to ensure designs survive real-world delivery
• Stay current with GCP evolution and translate new capabilities into practical solutions
   

• Designing infrastructure and platform blueprints (networking, IAM, compute, data, containers)
• Reviewing Terraform and CI/CD setups
• Debugging architecture-level bottlenecks
• Explaining trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Joining presales calls to validate solution direction
• Helping delivery teams make pragmatic decisions under constraints
   

What we expect from your background

• 7+ years of hands-on cloud / DevOps / platform engineering experience
• Strong practical experience with Google Cloud (certification preferred)
• Solid understanding of containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, and infrastructure as code
• Comfort with networking, security, IAM, Linux systems
• Experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Ability to reason about system trade-offs (cost, performance, operability)
• Clear communication skills with both engineers and clients in English
