The Role

Summary:

Adtaxi is seeking a Google Analytics 4 Analyst to execute website tracking strategies for clients, analyze website data, and provide actionable insights to enhance our clients’ online presence. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and analysis of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to provide data-driven insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of digital analytics, experience with GA4's advanced features, and a proven ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

What You Will Do:

  • Implement and manage GA4 across all digital platforms, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

  • Analyze user behavior and marketing campaigns to identify trends and optimize strategies

  • Create customer journey maps and deliver reports to stakeholders, communicating key findings

  • Utilize GA4's advanced analysis tools to conduct in-depth investigations and A/B testing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to optimize user experiences and drive growth

  • Dive deep into client data, including GA4, AdWords, and Google Tag Manager

  • Implement and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) and custom tracking solutions

  • Stay current with GA4 features, best practices, and industry trends, keeping clients and teams informed

What You Will Bring:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Google Analytics 4 platform, as well as a familiarity with Google Ads, Tag Manager, and SEO platforms

  • Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization platforms

  • Experience analyzing website traffic and user behavior for news websites or digital publications

  • Understanding of key metrics for newspaper websites, such as page views, unique visitors, engagement time, and subscription conversions

  • Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for content optimization, audience engagement, and revenue generation in the context of a newspaper business

  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 3 years minimum of client-facing experience 

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual salary range is $75,000 - $100,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. This role is eligible for a bonus based on performance. In addition to your salary, MediaNews Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
