We are seeking a high-impact Google Ads Strategist to take ownership of paid search strategy across our multi-brand portfolio. This is a performance-critical role responsible for driving revenue efficiency at scale while reducing reliance on external agency partners. Role Overview

The Google Ads Strategist will lead day-to-day and long-term paid search performance across our brands, overseeing a significant monthly investment with accountability for revenue contribution and efficiency targets.

This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on execution. You will assess current structures, challenge assumptions, and implement scalable optimizations that improve performance while strengthening internal capabilities.

You will work cross-functionally with Analytics, Brand, Creative, Merchandising, and Finance to ensure paid search strategy aligns with broader growth objectives and financial targets.

Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, analytical depth, and the confidence to influence performance strategy at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Own Google Ads strategy and performance across multiple brands and product categories

  • Manage and optimize significant monthly ad spend with clear ROAS and profitability targets

  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce external agency reliance

  • Build structured testing roadmaps across bidding strategies, creative, audience segmentation, and landing page alignment

  • Conduct incrementality and lift analysis to validate true performance impact

  • Develop forecasting models and scenario planning to guide budget allocation

  • Partner with Analytics to strengthen attribution accuracy and performance reporting

  • Translate complex performance data into clear, strategic recommendations for leadership

  • Lead post-campaign analysis with actionable insights tied directly to revenue and margin outcomes

  • Continuously identify new keyword, audience, and growth expansion opportunities

  • Maintain rigorous data integrity across tracking, tagging, and reporting infrastructure

Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on Google Ads management experience at meaningful budget scale

  • Demonstrated success managing high-spend accounts with measurable revenue impact

  • Proven track record of improving ROAS, lowering CPA, and driving profitable growth

  • Strong understanding of attribution models and incrementality testing

  • Advanced analytical capability with Google Analytics (GA4) or similar platforms

  • Experience building dashboards and performance reporting frameworks

  • Experience in DTC, e-commerce, or consumer brands

  • Ability to think commercially, not just tactically

  • Strong executive communication skills

Preferred
  • Experience managing seven-figure monthly ad budgets

  • Experience transitioning work in-house from agency partners
