As a Telehandler at ENVA, based in Grantham, you will play a key role in the recycling and processing of Small Domestic Appliances and fridges. You will be responsible for operating a telehandler to move, lift, load and unload materials including electronic waste and refrigeration units for further recycling or disposal, adhering to safety and environmental regulations. This position contributes to ENVA's sustainability efforts by promoting efficient waste management and recycling practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the telehandler to lift and transport materials to designated areas
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials such as televisions, computers, mobile phones, fridges, and other electronic devices to ensure they are directed to the correct recycling streams.
- Monitoring and controlling continuous flow or materials in the factory
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly those relating to tele-handling including conducting routine inspections and maintenance of the telehandler. Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets, supporting overall operational efficiency.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised working environment, ensuring work areas are free of hazards. This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role
