As an Educator with Kao, you will help increase sales, enhancing our brand image and awareness, and promoting the Kao brand through education programs. You will collaborate with salon teams and owners to enhance their skills, empowering them to grow their businesses through the Kao Salon Brand Portfolio. Reporting to the Associate Director for Education in the Nordics, you will be an important connection, encouraging relationships with salons by bringing your professional hairdressing expertise, advanced knowledge of colour, and retail experience to the table.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a positive Brand Ambassador by demonstrating GOLDWELL and KMS products & services to new, potential & existing salons.
- Conduct in-salon classes at a high level, following the class formats set out by the Education strategy and curriculum.
- Ensure all demo products and tools are in pristine condition and the academy is organised and stocked.
- Complete all planning, reporting, and administrative tasks related to Education, ensuring accurate documentation.
- You will work together with the wider Nordic Education team and your sales team to achieve common goals.
- Be available to work at trade events, evening and weekends if required.
Your role will involve frequent travel to client sites across the country, and work from our Kao Salon Academy in Copenhagen.
What we're looking for:
- Professional certification(s) in hairdressing
- 3+ years' experience in all aspects of hairdressing, including the knowledge of how best to organise and run training sessions in salons
- Knowledge of colorants, treatments and haircare products
- Experience planning and running training sessions that inform and motivate, and maximise the number of applications you can make
- The ability to organise your own working days to visit a maximum number of clients
- Experience producing and delivering presentations to influence customers to choose KAO salon products
- Potential to build relationships and establishing communication to engage with a variety of cultures/personalities.
