Job DescriptionThe Global Organizational Leadership Development (GOLD) Program is Avery Dennison’s fast-track leadership platform designed to cultivate our future leaders. We are currently recruiting highly ambitious graduates to join this program. The GOLD journey develops an associate’s knowledge and skills through practical, technical, and managerial training, typically involving multiple high-impact projects across various functions and geographic regions. The program is specifically designed to provide challenging and meaningful work experience across critical functions within Operations, which includes:
- Production & Manufacturing
- Supply Chain Planning
- Global Product Development
- Procurement & Logistic
- Enterprise LEAN Sigma & Total Quality.
Your Possible Roles:
This is a dynamic program featuring multiple challenging rotations across different Operations functions and potentially different locations. Specific tasks that you will get an opportunity to work on throughout your tenure includes:
- Provide daily technical production support and improve the product quality; support new product development by providing advice on quality risk and handle relative product tests.
- Conduct production line inspection and customer complaint analysis; implement quality improvement projects (e.g. ISO 9001:2000); provide process improvement advice and quality training.
- Handle data analysis and drive regional capacity planning projects; lead process improvement projects in the production and supply chain planning process.
- Assist to manage the operation of warehouse and dispatch team; ensure timely delivery of goods according to the requirement of quality and safety system.
...and other tasks according to the evolving business needs related to Operations.
QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain or related discipline and a satisfactory GPA of 3.00 and above.
Experience:
- Recent graduates (within the last 6 months) and those completing their degree by this December are encouraged to apply.
- Internship experience in a global company is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Highly motivated, creative thinker & able to thrive in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
- Strong English and Bengali proficiency in both oral and writing is required.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in university clubs, or extra-curricular activities; overseas study or exposure is a plus.
- Effectively communicates and influences stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable juggling multiple high-priority projects; sets and achieves challenging personal and project goals; and works independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to travel frequently (both locally and regionally) to support business projects and rotations.
