Part-Time Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm, Every other Mon, Fri, & Weekend
Part-Time Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm, Every other Weekend
Part-Time Shift 7:00am-3:30pm, Every other Weekend
Part-Time Shift 11:00pm-7:30am, Every other Weekend
Shift Available in Assisted Living Unit:
Part-Time Shift 11:00pm-7:30am, Every other Tues, Fri, & Weekend
(Evening/night shift differential included)

Blakehurst is recruiting for hospitality focused Geriatric Nursing Assistants to join our team.
Essential Job Duties:
- Assist all residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, positioning, turning, exercising, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
- Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
- Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
- Communicate to residents, families, Department Leaders, and the Director of Nursing when needed.
- Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
- Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- One (1) year experience working as a GNA.
- Must be on the Maryland Board of Nursing State Registry.
All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community also require that we request vaccination status that he/she had testing done for measles, mumps, rubella, & varicella (MMRV) to ensure immunity.
