The
General Manager, EV Sales & Charging Infrastructure, will lead the
strategic development, implementation, and growth of the company’s Electric
Vehicle (EV) business and charging network operations. This role is
responsible for driving EV sales performance, expanding charging infrastructure
across key locations, managing partnerships, and ensuring the company remains a
market leader in Nigeria’s evolving e-mobility ecosystem.
1. Strategy and Business
Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive EV
sale and charging infrastructure strategy aligned with the company’s
long-term vision for sustainable mobility.
- Identify business opportunities, partnerships,
and government collaborations to expand EV adoption and charging networks.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen the
company’s position as a leader in the EV market.
2. Sales and Market Growth
- Lead nationwide EV sales operations, achieving
revenue and market share targets.
- Oversee the development and execution of
marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and dealer network support for EV
products.
- Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and
competitor activities to inform business decisions.
3. Charging Infrastructure
Management
- Plan, design, and oversee the rollout of EV
charging stations in strategic urban and intercity locations.
- Collaborate with technical, engineering, and
facility teams to ensure efficiency, safety, and reliability of charging
infrastructure.
- Establish partnerships with public and private
stakeholders for shared charging access and expansion.
4. Partnerships and Stakeholder
Engagement
- Engage with government agencies, regulators,
and power distribution companies to align with national EV policies and
incentives.
- Build relationships with real estate
developers, fleet operators, and logistics companies for network
expansion.
- Represent the company in industry forums and
sustainability events.
5. Team Leadership and
Performance Management
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team across
EV sales, infrastructure operations, and customer support.
- Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and
ensure continuous capability development.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration,
and accountability within the EV division.
6. Financial and Operational
Oversight
- Develop and manage annual budgets for EV sales
and charging operations.
- Track financial performance and ensure
profitability of EV business lines.
- Ensure operational efficiency and compliance
with safety, environmental, and technical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business
Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree
preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the automobile,
energy, or mobility sector, with at least 5 years in senior management.
- Proven track record in EV sales,
infrastructure development, or sustainable mobility projects.
- Strong understanding of EV technologies, power
systems, and mobility solutions.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and
stakeholder management skills.
