Global Travel Operations, within Global Procurement, sets and oversees the framework for business travel, covering policy, processes, services, and suppliers to ensure transparent, efficient, and compliant travel across Deutsche Bank.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Global Travel Data, Communication and Market Intelligence Lead to join our global travel team. The role is responsible for the integrity, analysis, and strategic use of travel‑related data to support cost management, risk mitigation, and informed decision‑making, while owning traveler communication platforms and providing market intelligence through the analysis of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to deliver clear, fact‑based decision inputs.
Responsibilities
- Govern the global travel reporting platform, partnering with suppliers to ensure data accuracy, stability, continuous enhancement, escalations and production.
- Analyze travel spend, behaviour, and compliance to identify trends and deliver clear dashboards and insights for senior stakeholders.
- Own risk mitigation reporting and data feeds for second line stakeholders, ensuring reliable inputs to related programs and platforms.
- Define strategies to improve traveler experience, strengthen policy compliance, and increase program adoption globally.
- Deliver market intelligence by monitoring industry trends, regulatory developments, and travel innovations, translating insights into fact based recommendations and target states.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in corporate travel management, travel data analytics, or traveler engagement.
- Strong expertise in travel technology platforms, data governance, and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
- Solid background in travel consulting, market intelligence, or analytical roles within corporate travel.
- Deep understanding of the corporate travel ecosystem, supplier landscape, and industry dynamics.
- Proven ability to conduct structured research and translate complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
